Heather Lodge, located on Twelve Mile Lake in Haliburton Highlands, provides rooms for couples. All 12 rooms include a king bed. The rooms are strictly non-smoking areas which includes cannabis, vapes and electronic cigarettes. All suites provide a bar fridge, a Kurieg coffee maker, fresh creamers, full satellite TV and DVD player, bathrobes, hair dryer and WIFI. The finest guest room at Heather Lodge is the Deluxe Studio suite, featuring upgraded furniture and electric fireplace, a King bed, two person cuddle chair, a table & chair sitting area, sustainable amenities, makeup mirror. The bathroom offers a whirlpool tub with separate shower. Lakeview Studios offer a private balcony overlooking Twelve Mile Lake with a King bed, table and chairs, a compact fridge, coffee maker, satellite TV and DVD player and air conditioning. The Hot Tub Studio has been renovated and includes a Beachcomber 2-person Hot Tub with privacy walls and an outdoor sitting area. Courtyard Studios offer a King bed, lounge chairs, a small bar fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, satellite TV and DVD player, and a bathroom.

Heather Lodge offers a dining room. Chef James has over 25 years of experience and specializes in soups and sauces. A two-course full hot breakfast is available for $28.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. Guests can bring their own wine (LCBO purchased wine only in 750ml bottles) for a price of $20.00 per bottle plus tax and gratuity. Guests receive a VQA Malivoire Wine and Charcuterie Box upon arrival.

Heather Lodge is located on over 270 feet of waterfront on Twelve Mile Lake. Waterfront activities include canoes, kayaks, SUP boards and a paddle boat with safety equipment. A safe rock and sandy beach provides a gradual slope to the swimming area. Guests have access to WIFI throughout the property. Wind in the Willows Spa offers professional services in Haliburton. In winter, guests can enjoy crackling fires, cross country skiing, alpine ski and snowshoeing. Guests can walk along forest trails in Glebe Park. Winter trails are groomed for cross-country skiing.

Heather Lodge is located in the Haliburton Highlands. Within 15 minutes are five golf courses, scenic log chutes and rapids, kayaking, hiking, and artisan studios. Guests can complete a tour around the scenic area with a stop in the villages of Haliburton, Minden, and Dorset. Algonquin Park is nearby. Haliburton Highlands has over 350 artists with studios, galleries, and events. Guests can visit the Dorset Scenic Tower. Ski Haliburton offers over 70 km of ski trails. Dogsledding is available with huskies. Sir Sam's Ski / Ride offers 14 alpine runs.

Heather Lodge provides adult-only accommodation. Gratuity for housekeeping can be left in the room on departure as a cash tip. All 12 rooms offer a king bed, with a maximum occupancy for two adults. Heather Lodge does not allow pets, but can offer suggestions for kennels in the area.
